FAVE Juice is runner-approved!

This post was compensated. However, all thoughts/opinions belong to the reviewer. Your experience may differ.

Juice. It's everywhere; apple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, prune juice, grape juice, V8... A lot of times, though, it's not very healthy - it's filled with sugar and preservatives. Don't get me wrong - I love juice! A nice big glass of cold OJ in the morning with my cereal? Yep! But all that sugar just makes me feel sluggish. What if there was a way to get your fruits and veggies without all that sugar (or sodium) and without sacrificing that delicious taste?

There's a juice called Fave Juice! It's an all natural 100% fruit and vegetable juice with 3 FULL servings of fruits and veggies with each 8oz glass! Seriously - if you're having trouble chowing down on fruits and veggies (because there are times you just want to scream if you eat another piece of broccoli), why not try a juice that gives you the fruits and veggies you need? (Just don't forget to still eat your fruits and vegetables. Those are important!)

Nutritional Value for Strawberry-Banana-Kiwi

Even better, there is less than 45mg of sodium and 60 calories in each serving. For a runner who is trying to watch her sodium content due to the fact that I gain water weight really easily, this is a no-brainer for me.

Fave Juice also comes in 3 delicious flavors (check out their ingredients!) - Strawberry-Banana-Kiwi, Pomegranate-Blueberry-Goji, and Tangerine-Orange-Pineapple. Yum!

It's a great alternative to fruit juices and soda, and it's also great for kids!

Be sure to follow Fave on Facebook!  You can also check out their store locator to see where it is available. (You can also purchase FAVE on Amazon.)

Ready for the taste test?

I love fruits and vegetables. But I also love juice. Where my Dad worked, he was able to bring home juice all the time. Granted, it wasn't the healthy kind, but it was still juice. Once I realized I needed a healthier alternative to those unhealthy juices and soda (which I still drink occasionally because I'm a Texan and Dr Pepper is life!), I went on a search.

Strawberry-Banana-Kiwi

I came across Face Juice and knew I had to try it! The first flavor I tasted was Strawberry-Banana-Kiwi, all 3 flavors I love... Never had them combined but it was worth a shot. You can definitely taste the veggies, which isn't a bad thing! You want to taste the veggies. But then you get that taste of strawberry, banana, and kiwi... I liked it a lot, especially VERY cold. It ended up being my favorite of the 3 flavors and I'll normally drink it after a run or workout.

Orange-Tangerine-Pineapple (with ice)

The Orange-Tangerine-Pineapple was definitely a combination I would have loved as a kid who always had juice with her morning cereal! It has become my go-to morning drink, after coffee, when I eat cereal in the morning. It's like drinking a glass of OJ, just a lot healthier and much more tasty. (Did I mention it also less sugar so it doesn't taste like you're just drinking a cup of sugar?)

Pomegranate-Blueberry-Goji

As for the Pomegranate-Blueberry-Goji, that was a combination I never would have through of, but they go so well together! Kind of tart but with a sweetness behind it. If I didn't eat healthy that day, I'll relax at the end of the day with a glass of it and promise myself to do better tomorrow... Or the next day...

Fave Juice - runner and taste buds approved! (And can I just say that mixing the OTP and PBG flavors is awesome? Yeah, it is!)

Zombie-Opoly - When Monopoly and zombies collide.

I received Zombie-Opoly from Late For The Sky games to facilitate this review. All thoughts/opinions are my own. Your experience may differ.

Zombie-Opoly game

I'm a gamer - board games and video games, you name it. Granted, I'm not a hardcore gamer like some of my friends, but I love gaming. It makes my little geeky heart squeal with happiness. Plus, I'm a little competitive, depending on who I'm playing with (or against). But I learned a very valuable lesson when it comes to competitiveness when you play against a very good friend (a hardcore gamer called L.C.) and your twin sister.

The three of us, thanks to Late For The Sky Games, were able to try out Zombie-Opoly. What exactly is Zombie-Opoly? Think of Monopoly but with zombies. We like zombies so we were intrigued.

 Here's a quick run-down of game:

Player pieces (6) - a shovel, Severed Ear, Femur Bone, Lethal Weapon, Zombie Boy and a Human Remnant
Zombie-Opoly player pieces
These are not all the player pieces. Just the ones we chose for our game.

Properties - Properties have a zombie-theme like The Horde (also known as Boardwalk in Monopoly) or Goodbye Kitty (also known as Mediterranean Avenue). These are interesting! They include interesting facts and cute little jokes on the back.
Zombie-Opoly deed

Houses/Hotels - Houses are Boxes of Flesh and Hotels are Screaming Humans.

Play Cards - What would be Community Chest and Chance are now Stagger and Crawl. They're a lot like Monopoly play cards, except there is one card that kind of takes the game a little further.
L.C. had no problem doing a "zombie walk". (We were at a public board gaming place and the last thing you want is to be crawling around on the floor. We may upload the video at a later time!)

Time - You can play the normal version or an hour version.

Gameplay
It plays just like Monopoly. The only difference is that it is zombies and maybe a little more fun. (See "Crawl" card above.)

Most Monopoly games can go on forever, unless one person has a very good strategy. We all started out as we normally would, but within 30 minutes, my sister and I realized that it was going to get extremely competitive. About 45 minutes to an hour in, I was the first person out, with L.C. being the person who took me down. It didn't take long for the realization to sink in that L.C. knew what he was doing. About 30 minutes later, he had an empire near the "Shamble to Buried" (also known as Go To Jail), which eventually took out my sister, declaring L.C. the winner.

The only problem we saw was that because of the design of the game board, it made it sometimes difficult to see the silver player pieces.

Other than that, it was fun and if you love zombies, Zombie-Opoly might be the game for you.

Is Robin's Quest: A Legend Born worth playing?

I like PC and console games. I've logged quite a few hours playing Neverwinter, City of Steam: Arkadia, League of Legends, and most recently, Diablo III. (When your friend invites you over to play co-op, you play co-op. I love my Demon Hunter's Rain of Vengeance's Flying Strike.)

But I occasionally play casual games when I just need to slow down and that's I came across Robin's Quest: A Legend Born.

Beginning cutscene from Robin's Quest: A Legend is Born

You are essentially Robin, a woman (I know. I was surprised, too.), who has been jailed by the evil ruler who taxes the poor and it's up to you to save the day. Like every hidden object game, you find clues and complete puzzles, but in RQ, you are mostly searching for clues. Puzzles to solve are scarce, but relative to the story.

Screenshot of gameplay

The game is pretty short by casual game standards, lasting less than 3 hours. Most hidden object games last much longer, requiring several days to finish (unless you have nothing else going on that day). It wasn't as challenging as you'd find with other casual hidden object games. It was actually quite easy, making it great for those who don't want a challenging game.

The graphics and game play are smooth, though it will depend on the system it is played on.

All in all, Robin's Quest: A Legend Born is a pretty easy and short casual hidden object game.

You can find Robin's Quest: A Legend Born on Amazon for download.

Sparkling Ice VS soda... Who wins?

Thanks to Sparkling Ice for the partnership. All thoughts/opinions are my own. Your experience may differ.

I am from Texas so we drink coffee, sweet iced tea, and Dr Pepper like they were going out of style.

It's hard finding an alternative that still has that fizzy mouth feel without feeling like you're giving up your favorite drink.

Sparkling Ice offers real fruit flavor with sparkling water, making it the perfect substitute for your favorite soft drink (minus the caffeine).

They have over 10 Sparkling Water flavors including Peach Mango, Lemon Lime, Black Raspberry, and Kiwi Strawberry. For those who love tea (like I do), Sparkling Ice even has Sparkling Tea with delicious flavors like Raspberry, Half & Half, Peach, and Lemon.

Don't forget that it's getting hot outside and Sparkling Ice has you covered with Sparkling Lemonade, flavors being Classic and Strawberry.

Be sure to follow Sparkling Ice on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

BUY
You can purchase Sparkling Ice on Amazon, Target, or use their store locator to find a store near you.

WHAT I THOUGHT

I was excited to try Sparkling Ice. The flavors I received we're Classic Lemonade, Raspberry Tea, Pink Grapefruit, and Cherry Limeade.

Being a soda, coffee, and tea person, at first, I wasn't sure what to think. After a few sips of the Raspberry Tea, I eventually got used to the taste and ended up liking it. You can taste the brewed tea and raspberry flavor.

My, favorite, however, ended up being Classic Lemonade. It was sooo good, and tart like lemonade should be. It tastes good at room temperature but is so much better cold. That lasted maybe an hour.

Twin wanted to try one so I gave her Pink Grapefruit, and she liked it a lot. In fact, she bought another flavor the next day at the store because she wanted to try out their other flavors.

Sparkling Ice is a good alternative for soda. With so many different flavors available, I don't think I'll run out of options. May even pick up a few for my friend, who is having trouble giving up soda.

7 Must Have Beauty Products for Spring

Thanks to BVSpa, Devera Naturals, and Michael Todd Beauty for the partnership. All thoughts/opinions are my own. Your experience may differ.

This year, not only did I vow to take care of my body, I also vowed to take care of my skin. I want to not only feel good, I want my skin to look good as well. So I decided to put a few skin care routines to the test.

Let's start with Rosewater Cleansing Toner 2-in-1 by Devera Naturals. Spending hours, sweating in the sun can definitely dry out the skin, leaving it looking awfully tired. The Rosewater Cleansing Toner cleans, tones, and exfoliates while it moisturizes and promotes healthy skin-cell turnover.

It's easy to apply. You can do it in the morning and at night. It smells wonderful. I did start to notice small changes as I used it. My skin looked less tired and a lot cleaner. I use it daily, mostly at night, when my skin is at its dirtiest. Definitely worth it!

You can purchase Rosewater Cleansing Toner for $42.95.

A product I use right after using the Rosewater Cleansing Toner is Michael Todd's Hyaluronic Complex Hydrating Serum. Ultra moisturizing and soothing, it is formulated to improve redness, dullness, and dry patches for a better-looking complexion.

I have oily skin, and while it says that it's great for all skin types except oily, I noticed that it worked great for me. It goes on super smooth and light. I love how it makes my skin feel and I have seen that my complexion is looking a little more clearer and even.

You can purchase Hyaluronic Complex Hydrating Serum from Michael Todd for $37.

When it comes to wanting to relax and have that "just got a nice spa massage" feeling, nothing beats BVspa Pink Grapefruit by Bon Vital, which are environmental-friendly!

Scrub away dead skin cells and bring out a new glow with the Salt Scrub, which I love. I use this most of the time, especially on my arms and feet, which take a beating during the week thanks to running and workouts.

You can also get a smoother finish with the Sugar Scrub, which I use mostly on nights and or days I'm going to be out most of the time. Oh, the smell is great. I love that it's non-sticky. It doesn't do a deep-scrub job like the Salt Scrub, though salt, by nature, is much coarser, but it's perfect for that date night or if you just want smoother-looking skin.

The body butter, which I use body butter all the time, is awesome! I use it on the most rough or dry spots like my feet, elbows, and arms. What I'll sometimes do is put it on my feet and put on socks for overnight softness. Wondering about that body lotion as well? I layer it with the Pink Grapefruit Sugar Scrub and add a few spritzes of Sweet Like Candy perfume by Ariana Grande for that overall sexy feeling.

You can find BVspa on Bon Vital's website. Prices vary.

So my question for you is... How do you take care of your skin? Any special routine?

"Clever and funny" - Smurfs: The Lost Village

I grew up watching the Smurfs and wanted to sort of relive my childhood so when I received 2 tickets myself, I took me and the Twin to go see it. (I had seen Moana with a friend in January. That's a long story best saved for another day. But because of that, seeing kids movies isn't anything new to me.)

I used Fandango for the first time, which I am now obsessed with, and went a few minutes early just in case of traffic, long lines, or I missed my exit, because you never know on a Friday night!

I found the perfect seat under the project, and sat my butt down until the movie started.

It opens with a tiny introduction to the main movie Smurfs, along with a few others - Clumsy, Brainy, Hefty, and Smurfette. As Brainy tests out a new gadget to see what kind of Smurf a Smurf is, Smurfette wants to try it out as she can't seem to find her niche in the Smurf world. But something goes horribly wrong, and as they try to relax with Smurffing (Smurf surfing), Brainy, Clumsy, Hefty, and Smurfette come across something that changes their whole lives. Have they discovered a new village? Have they discovered a new species of Smurfs?

Of course, Gargamel and Azrael have more evil plans for the Smurfs, and when they find out what the Smurfs stumble upon, Gargamel uses Smurfette's original design (because we all know she was made out of clay by Gargamel) to get her to do his evil bidding and bring him to this new piece of information the Smurfs have discovered.

As Brainy, Clumsy, Hefty, and Smurfette travel to this new land, they encounter new insects, animals, and eventually, find out what this lost village is and Smurfette finds out who she truly is.

It was a wonderful movie filled with lessons kids and even adults will find useful and it was pretty funny. (Who doesn't love a sarcastic cat named Azrael?) What I found clever was that it actually had some sarcasm, which children might not pick up on, but adults will!

The ending is amazing! All of the Smurfs and Smurfettes come together for one purpose - Smurfette.

There were lots of kids on opening night and they all seemed to enjoy it, as I heard their laughs echo through the the theater. Parents will enjoy it because not only is it a cute movie and their kids will love it, they'll feel nostalgic as they watch it.

Spice up your eyewear wardrobe with GlassesShop!

I received a pair of Alston - Black eyeglasses from GlassesShop to review. All thoughts/opinions are my own. Your experience may differ.

I wear glasses. I've worn glasses since middle school (or maybe as early as elementary - I can't remember) but glasses have been a part of most of my life. Let's face it though - even back in the 90s, eyeglasses were really expensive, and they still are now. I personally cannot afford to spend $200 on a pair of frames.

GlassesShop.com offers quality eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses that are not only fashionable, but affordable as well!

What makes it easy to shop through GlassesShop is they have made it more simple to browse through their sections of women's, men's, or kid's eyeglasses. You can also refine your search for each category so you can find exactly what you're looking for.

What I love about GlassesShop is their "Try On" feature! If you find a pair you like, look for the blue "TryOn" button. You can use one of the pre-selected photos or you can upload your own so you can see exactly how the frames will look. As someone who is trying out new styles all the time, it comes in very handy, I will tell you that.

When it comes to shopping for glasses online, it should be easy, with plenty of styles to choose from (including the ever-popular cat eye style), but also affordable. I believe GlassesShop fits that. In their women's section, the highest pair of frames I saw was $69.95 for the Craig Rectangle - Gunmetal, which makes it possible to get several pairs of eyeglasses at once! I may have to pick up another pair (and even some prescription sunglasses, which are also available).

Be sure to follow GlassesShop on Facebook and Twitter!

WHAT I THOUGHT

I have worn glasses for as long as I can remember. In fact, I don't even remember the first time I had to start wearing glasses. I also have a confession to make - I don't change styles very often. In middle school, I had really thick frames that did nothing for me. In high school, my family didn't make very much  money so I had to go with the cheapest frames I could find.
Before (see the tape and that "frosted" look the lenses have??)
And then there was that stretch where I wore the same glasses for years before I simply couldn't afford new frames. I would get my eyes checked but because my eyes didn't change for a few years, I kept wearing the same glasses. If something broke, I would tape it the best I could. The film would start rubbing off and the lenses were filled with scratches but because I could still see, I kept wearing them. Yeah, I know.

So when it came to looking for new frames, imagine my excitement when I found out I would be working with GlassesShop! I already had an eye exam scheduled, so the timing was perfect!

Little did I know that I would not only need new frames (as you can tell in the "before", but my prescription changed.

I had no idea what style to choose. But once I saw the Alston in Black, I used the "Try On" feature and loved how they looked! The minute they arrived, I switched glasses and I no longer looked like a nerdy kid with taped glasses.
Loving!
I went with rimless because I saw that rimmed glasses really did nothing for me and I like having the lenses off my cheeks. (Plus it's a new style for me, which I'm really kind of loving.)

But let's also talk about quality. I've had them for about two weeks and there's not even a hint of a scratch. Score! The frames itself is durable, and I can definitely see much better than with my old pair. No more squinting or hoping what I saw/read was correct.

As I told the Twin, "So this is what it's like to have 20/20 vision!".

I'm thinking of getting a back-up pair and a pair of prescription sunglasses. I've never had prescription sunglasses so it should be fun to pick some out!

Is there an alternative to pierced ears? We think so!

Thanks to EarZings for the partnership. All thoughts/opinions are my own. Your experience may differ.

I don't have pierced ears. Not because I'm afraid of needles or against having pierced ears. But I have always wanted to look of having pierced ears without going through the process.

EarZings are a great alternative to pierced ears, clip-ons, and magnetic earrings. With a patent-pending technology, you essentially just slide the earrings on. It's also great for girls whose friends have pierced ears but don't have pierced ears themselves but want that "pierced ears" look.

So how do EarZings work? It is a patent coil design for a painless earring-wearing experience - without the pain of going through a piercing. In fact, they are easy to put on! (You can also watch a how-to video here.)

They have a lot of wonderful styles available for girls ages 5+ to even styles women will love. I mean, just check out these cute Hootie EarZings! Teens and tweens who love owls will love these. They're adorable!

Shown: Papillon & Hootie

My personal favorite is the Starlet, which are twinkly silver stars that would be perfect for date night or even the holidays.

If you like the look of dangle earrings, EarZings also has Dangles Attachments (sold separately, which you slide onto your EarZings for an enhanced look for your EarZings. The Irish girl in me is loving the emerald green Capri Peridot Dangles!

For those looking for gift ideas, you can also get gift sets including a pair of EarZings and a matching necklace in different styles.

Be sure to follow EarZings on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

BUY
You can purchase Ahoy EarZings for $15. EarZings are also sold at specialty shops. Use their store locator to see if it's available in your area.

WHAT I THOUGHT

Like I said, I don't have pierced ears but I've always wanted that look without going through the whole process of getting my ears pierced. I couldn't wait to try out EarZings!

At first glance, my Ahoy EarZings were a beautiful blue. I was kind of intimidated on how to use them, but after a few minutes of figuring it out, I successfully put them on. The great thing about these is that I could hardly feel them! Seriously, I forgot I was wearing them. After putting them on a few times over the next following week or so, it was a breeze to put them on and where to place them.

I know it's a bit blurry but this is how they look from the side.
I've had a lot of fun finding what outfits and hairstyles they go with. I noticed that they look amazing in a black shirt (like the one I'm wearing in the picture above) and a ponytail. It looks so classic! My friend, who knows I don't have pierced ears, said I looked like I was ready for a date.

I can't wait to see  how they look with different clothes and hairstyles. I'm thinking an up-do with a pretty dress or pantsuit for the holidays... Or that date.

Chewy.com March Unboxing

Thanks to Chewy.com for the partnership. All thoughts/opinions are my own. Your experience may differ.

My kitties are spoiled, well, somewhat. They get attention whenever they want it, and will get fresh food/water several times a day, even when I know their food is only a couple of hours old.

If you haven't met the "brood", here is the rundown:

  • Brother - a 8 year old Siamese male who is definitely the "big man on campus".
  • Sister - an 8 year old Siamese female (sibling to Brother), and she is just like Brother - thinks she's the queen of the land.
  • Cheeto - a 6 year old orange Tabby who is weird. She won't eat if anyone is staring at her, and if she's eating canned food, you have to squish it around every few minutes. Weird, I know!
  • Munchkin - a 5 year old gray tabby who is loving and pretty much a "cat" cat. There's nothing really quirky about her.

I think my cats were more excited than I was when the Chewy box arrived. If you haven't heard of Chewy.com, they are dedicated to everything about your furry loved ones! You can order your pet's favorite food, toys, treats, and even supplies and have it shipped directly to your door. And here's the kicker - order before 4pm ET and they'll ship it the same day!

You can also set up autoship! You don't have to worry about re-ordering the same thing each time you run out. You can skip shipments, and you can cancel anytime, essentially making it hassle-free. Believe it or not, you can also save 5-50% on every Autoship order of select brands, making it easier for you to save money.

So, who's ready to see our very first Chewy unboxing for March?

For our first time as a Chewy influencer, we received Iams ProActive Health Hairball Care Chicken Flavor Daily Cat Treats and 24 cans of Taste of the Wild Canyon River Grain-Free Canned Cat Food.

Munchkin - "Take the picture, human, and open the can already!"

I don't give my cats treats often, but as they start shedding their winter coats, I've noticed quite a few having hairballs and knowing the Iams ProActive treats helped with hairballs, I had no problem giving it to them. Brother and Cheeto loved them so much, they actually kept pushing each other out of the way to get to them. Glad there's plenty to go around!

As for the Taste of the Wild Canyon River canned food, that was reserved for Cheeto, since she is really picky about what she eats. Let's just say that I think she may be in love... with that canned food, of course. I couldn't get the can open quick enough before she was clawing at my hands to hurry.

Cheeto (between mouthfuls) - "You did good, human. More at 7pm on the dot."
And knowing that Taste of the Wild is grain-free, I don't have to worry about unnecessary bloat (which can be deadly for pets) and it gives her energy, which she doesn't need more of but as she gets older, she's showing signs of sleeping more that her mother, Smokie, did. Plus it's healthy - heck yeah!

I guess the furry destroyers love Chewy so much, Munchkin decided to claim the box as hers. Or maybe because it's a box.

Open Hands by Laura Story is filled with joy!

Many thanks to Propeller Consulting, LLC for providing this prize for the giveaway. Choice of winners and opinions are 100% my own and NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I did receive a sample of the product in exchange for this review and post.

I don't listen to Christian music very often. I used to listen to it a lot, but as I went soul searching, I realized that I enjoyed a different kind of music (metal, country, Epic Rap Battles of History, etc.) while staying strong to my Christian roots.

But every now and then, I find myself listening to Christian-themed songs and bands like old PlusOne, who, unfortunately is no longer together.

But for some reason, I knew I had to listen to Laura Story. Her music seemed much more different than the songs I grew up with, not mention her absolutely beautiful voice.

GRAMMY® award winning artist, speaker, songwriter, author and worship leader Laura Story has a gift for penning songs that connect with people all around the world. Year.” In 2011, Laura released her sophomore project Blessings. The album and the emotionally powerful title was inspired by her real life trials and adversities, primarily her husband Martin's diagnosis of a brain tumor. The album resonated with a huge audience and led to whirlwind career highlights for Laura, peaking at the No. 1 album spot for three consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Contemporary Christian Overall chart, topping the iTunes® Christian/Gospel Top Songs chart and holding the No. 1 spot for an impressive 28 consecutive weeks on the Christian charts.

I'm listening to "Open Hands" for a second time as I write this, and it's on the track Open Hands, featuring Mac Powell. This is such a powerful song! The line "I'm not afraid of what I lose. My greatest joy is finding you,". While I can't say something about this from a spiritual view, I can certainly tell you that I akin it to when I found myself. I knew I lost friends along the way but finding myself was more than I could have ever hoped for.

"Open Hands" is truly inspirational. If you're in a dark spot in your life, this will shed a little light into that darkness. Even if you're life is filled with joy and light, it will reaffirm it all. It's one of the most inspirational albums I've heard in such a long time.

My favorite track from the album is Whisper. It's hauntingly beautiful and the melody gave me chills. It brought tears to my eyes, honestly, which is difficult for songs to do.

Be sure to follow Laura Story on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

How the #GoMohu #Releaf Anntenna changed the way I watched TV

Thanks to MOHU for the partnership. All thoughts/opinions are my own. Your experience may differ.

I don't have cable. I haven't had it for years because it just got to be too expensive to keep up with. So we've been buying converter boxes and antennas for a few years. But not all antennas are created equally. The antennas I've been using are just your run-of-the-mill rabbit ears, and let's be honest, I could hardly get a local channel less than 5 miles away!

A lot of people who don't have cable use antennas to get their TV, but lets face it - they're not using rabbit ears. Flat antennas have now become so popular, you can find them practically anywhere.

Mohu, the #1 rated original paper thin indoor antennas, allows you to "cut the cable cord" with their line of high-quality HDTV antennas and receive free over-the-air television channels.

The great thing about Mohu is that you can search for an antenna that will work in your area. Just enter your zip code on the front page, and it will bring up a list of antennas for you to compare. It will even show what channels are available in your area and which antennas will receive those channels.

Mohu's Leaf® series is the most popular indoor antenna on the market, and it is paper thin! The series is available in 30-mile and 50-mile radius.

Notice how thin the ReLeaf® is?
Their newest product is the ReLeaf® Indoor HDTV Antenna, which is made from recycled materials! They turn crushed cable boxes into antenna parts and the ReLeaf® is not only paper thin, it's actually made from 30% cardboard, making it eco-friendly.

So if you're ready to get rid of cable bills once and for all, you might want to check out Mohu. They not only have indoor antennas, they have accessories like amplifiers and stands for your Leaf® antennas.

Be sure to follow Mohu on Facebook and Twitter.

BUY
You can purchase the ReLeaf® Indoor HDTV Antenna for $39.99 with FREE shipping.

WHAT I THOUGHT
Only 3 items to get OTA (over-the-air) TV? That's all I need!
Like I said, I don't have cable. I kind of miss it, but then again, I definitely don't miss those bills! But for the past few years, we've been using converter boxes and those rabbit ears. You know the kind - where you had to constantly position the arms and if you walked by them, the signal would get wonky. I knew I needed something a little more up-to-date.

When I first got the ReLeaf Indoor HDTV Antenna from Mohu, I wasn't sure what to think. The manual was printed right on the box! I've never seen that before!
Now, notice how it says to connect it to your television. But out of habit, I connected it to the converter box... The signal was still wonky, and I knew it had to be the converter box, so I connected it to the television. The signal, minus when it's windy, is almost perfect.

What I really like about the ReLeaf HDTV Indoor Antenna is that I can pretty much place it out of sight, or hang it on the wall, where the signal is better.
Kind of stands out against the wall, but better than metal rods sticking out for signal!

On the bottom of the box, it showed an outline of something you could cut out. I won't lie - I didn't even know where to begin to so I went to the website listed (http://gomohu.com/cuttheboard, in case you're just as intrigued as I was). Guess what it was?

A cute little stand made of cardboard, making the whole thing eco-friendly! But I feared the Siamese kitty would whack his tail against it, knocking the whole thing over, so I placed it on the wall where it couldn't be reached by furry paws.

Honestly, the pins to hang it on the wall bend easy, but once you get the antenna where you want it, it doesn't go anywhere or budge, and luckily it comes with a white set and a black set of pins, so if you happen to bend a pin completely, you have extras!

I kind of miss cable (mostly Doctor Who and The Walking Dead), but I think I like the ReLeaf. I can finally get good signals, not that constant pixelated mess I used to get with rabbit ears.
