Let's face it - almost every woman will face gray hair at least once in their lifetime. Some women embrace their gray hair and some women still want to look young (or at least their age). It is expensive to go to the salon all the time to cover it up. Did you know that 70 – 80% of women over 40 color their gray hair, but that 75% of women are not using a temporary root touch-up between colorings because they are not satisfied with what is on the market?
Gray Away can become a girl's best friend! What is Gray Away? Gray roots start to show only 2 weeks after hair coloring, Gray Away is an easy and convenient way to spray away gray roots instantly. It extends the life of hair color saving both time and money. Gray Away does not contain dyes, it contains mineral derived pigments and it is safe for everyone to use, even pregnant women!
Don't worry about it becoming permanent - it washes out with shampoo!
So if your hair is looking a little gray, be sure to pick up some Gray Away!
BUY
You can purchase Gray Away (available in Light Brown and Black/Dark Brown) on their website or wherever Gray Away is sold in your area. Price runs about $12.99.
WHAT WE THOUGHT
Mom has been telling me she has wanted to dye her gray hair for a while, but never got around to it. With Christmas coming up, she wanted to look her best for the annual Christmas Eve party at my grandmother's house. But it really has gotten too cold to dye her hair. So when we found out we would be giving Gray Away a chance, she agreed to be what she called my "guinea pig". Okay, then!
We chose Black/Dark Brown since she has dark brown hair. We were able to spray her whole head, since she has really short hair. What a transformation! The gray was completely gone, and it made her look so much younger!
I didn't notice any problems with the can at all. It came out smoothly, and evenly. It did, however, feel like using hairspray and did rub off easily if you didn't let it dry completely. Oh, and don't wear a hat afterwards. It tends to get the inside of the hat messy.
We still have about 35% left so on Christmas Eve (before we leave), we'll be doing it again!
