DESCRIPTION:
Gabriella and Darron thought their magickal battle was over when they defeated the evil warlock, Richard. When her Aunt Donna seeks Gabriella's help in rescuing her catatonic daughter from the Dark Coven, Gabriella discovers that her cousin holds a power within her that would be catastrophic in the hands of the evil witches. Gabriella's coven sets out on a journey that may be their last. Along the way, they meet new allies, face devastating treachery, and battle not only the Dark Coven, but the darkness within themselves. When Gabriella finally comes face to face with the cousin she never knew existed, her true destiny is unveiled, and the fate of the mortal world is in her hands.

WHAT I THOUGHT:
This is the 2nd book in the Destiny series, and having read the first one, I was ready to dive into Destiny Unveiled!

After having defeat Richard, Darron's father, Gabriella and Darron thought they everything was okay until a long lost aunt (Donna) seeks Gabriella's help in getting Donna's daughter away from the Dark Coven. Instead of leaving behind Darron and her mortal friends, Gabriella and everyone (including Meranda, Donna's other daughter) head off to Miami to fight what could be their last fight ever.

This book is cleverly written with plenty of twists and turn. I rarely give books a full 10 unless I loved it, and I couldn't put this book down! The characters are so well written that you almost feel for them when they have triumphant moments or want to help when failure has befallen them. I know it sounds weird, but in some way, you can connect with each of the characters, even if it's Flora's fascination with the opposite sex.

This is one of those books that as you read, you can see it playing in your mind like a movie. If you enjoy witchy books with quirkiness and humor, the Destiny series is probably for you.
