This post was created in partnership with Harvest Snaps. I have been compensated for this post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I am not ashamed to say that I used to love to snack. When I wanted to snack, I usually want to reach for something salty or sweet. But since I am on the track to lose weight, reaching for a few bars of mini-sized chocolate bars or a those small bags of chips weren't exactly a healthy snacking idea. So I gave up snacking. Thank goodness for Harvest Snaps!
Harvest Snaps offer some of the best snacking around - and they're non-GMO to boot! Harvest Snaps are made from either snap pea or lentils, making up 70% of each bite. They are also baked, gluten-free, and a healthy alternative to chips!
For the Snapea Crisps variety, flavors include Lightly Salted, Black Pepper, Wasabi Ranch, and Casear. The Lentil Snaps include Tomato Basil and Onion Thyme.

WHAT I THOUGHT
As I said before, I used to love to snack. Thanks to Harvest Snaps, I was able to try them out and see if it hit the snacking spot. You be the judge:
Snapea Crisps- Wasabi Ranch: This was the first flavor I tried. Oh my, the flavors were everywhere, but in a good way! You tasted the ranch, and then a hit of wasabi. The wasabi wasn't enough to knock you off your feet, but it has a nice heat. I think I had too many because it aggravated my GERD. Oops!
Snapea Crisps- Lightly Salted: I try to watch my salt, which is why I don't eat a lot of salty stuff. This has just a light dusting of salt, and when you eat it, it's just a hint of salt.
Snapea Crisps- Caesar: It was almost like eating a salad with Caesar dressing. It was a little too salty for my taste. Twin loved these more than I did.
Snapea Crisps- Black Pepper: I love black pepper, and these were definitely dusted with black pepper. It wasn't a lot, but you can tell it was black pepper. There was no mistaking that! One day, I might add some to tuna for texture and flavor.
I think I have found my love for snacking again through Harvest Snaps!

Lentil Snaps - Tomato Basil (in forefront)
Lentil Snaps- Tomato Basil: Right off the bat, the Lentil Snaps are much softer than the Snapea Crisps. The Tomato Basil was VERY delicious with plenty of flavor. It might be my favorite.
Lentil Snaps- Onion Thyme: With GERD, you're not supposed to have onions but I couldn't help but taste these. They weren't as flavorful as the Tomato Basil, but the thyme and onion mix very well.I think I have found my love for snacking again through Harvest Snaps!
