Our family is in turmoil.

You know I don't like to talk personally about my family because we have always been a private family. But I know a lot of you are wondering why I haven't been myself lately and I think it's time that I express what my family is going through.

About 2 weeks ago, my father lost his job- the only income we had. As you know, I work from home so I can take care of my mother, whose health isn't good at all. But blogging comes with a lot of uncertainties and the money isn't as flowing as a regular job would be.

Unfortunately, the job market in my area isn't as good as other areas, and it has been hard finding Dad a job. He has had interviews but nothing concrete. We had a little money saved but we are almost out of money. With rent and bills to be paid, we are running out of ideas.

As far as food, we are going to the local food bank to see if they can help us. We will be filing for unemployment in a few days and hopefully we'll get something there. We don't have any family or friends that are willing to even give us $50 to buy groceries or put towards rent. There are unfortunately circumstances that keep us from filing for other assistance that our area offers.

We don't know what to do and we're running out of ideas and options.

I have posted on Wish Upon A Hero in hopes that at least someone will give us just even a little, but we shall see.

If you want to help out, feel free to e-mail me. The only thing I do ask is that you do not judge my family. We have been through enough this year, and with the added pressure of what we are going through, I prefer positive thoughts instead of negative.

  1. I am so sorry for what your family is going through. I will definitely say a prayer and hope things turn out better, it can't hurt. Best wishes.
