Vermont Nut Free Chocolates- you can still have your chocolate! (Review)

Having a nut allergy or not even being able to have nuts is hard enough. But can't have candy or chocolate because it has nuts? That's just to much to handle!

Vermont Nut Free Chocolates was founded by the mother of a little boy with a peanut allergy. They have mastered producing delicious chocolate and candies from scratch in a nut free facility. There is nothing more embarrassing that giving someone a box of assorted chocolates only to find out they have a nut allergy. Vermont Nut Free Chocolates offers boxed chocolates that contain zero nuts and all the deliciousness that other boxed chocolates have. You can even get a grand assortment that can contain anywhere from 6 pieces to a whopping 24 pieces!

Like M&Ms but feel like you're missing out because of your nut allergy? They even have Skippers, in your choice of milk or dark chocolate.

They also offer Jelly Beans, Chocolate Pops, Granola Bar-TANABAR, Metaball, and even baking chocolate for those who can't have nuts! Doesn't that Pretzel Caramel Bark look delicious? If you are interested in reading more about peanut and nut allergies, they have many books available on the subject, including several childrens' books.

You can find Vermont Nut Free Chocolates on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

You can purchase Vermont Nut Free chocolates and candies on their website.

Mom cannot have nuts of any kind. She suffers from Meniere's disease, and nuts can cause an attack, which can also cause her to pass out if it's not watched closely. So I felt really bad when Twin and I would be enjoying chocolate with nuts in it and she couldn't. So I went in search of a place where she could have chocolate that didn't have any nuts and was from a nut-free facility.

We got to try out a wide variety of candy from Vermont Nut Free Chocolates. We also got to try the Skippers, but those didn't a chance to make it in the picture. We REALLY enjoyed everything!

The Granola bar- TANABAR didn't taste like your average granola bar. It wasn't super chewy, and it wasn't overly sweet. We loved the Triple Berry and Chocolate Chip. The Sweet Raisin was okay. I think Mom liked that one best since she loves raisins.

Now the chocolate bars- the chocolate was so smooth! They just melted in your mouth, and Mom wanted more. She had first choice and she chose the Milk Chocolate bar. After she ate it, she had no problems with it as far as her Meniere's goes. In fact, we let gave her bites of the Dark and Crispy chocolate bars since she is finally able to enjoy chocolate.

The jelly beans? Talk about a burst of flavor! Flavors include lemon, grape, cherry, strawberry, orange and lime. When you put a bunch in your mouth, the flavor explodes. The Skippers tasted just like chocolate-covered candies- even the dark chocolate was decadent.

With Easter coming up and Mom now being able to enjoy chocolate, I'm thinking of getting her a chocolate Easter bunny from Vermont Nut Free!
