Say "Thank You" with Sweet Andy's Cookies! (Review)

Chocolate seems to have taken over Valentine's Day as the "sweet" of choice. But if you're looking for a sweeter alternative with a great back story, we just might have the one for you!

Pumpkin
Sweet Andy's Cookies started as away for Andy and his wife to thank his community for helping him after the economy hit his family hard. He and his wife started creating cookie platters to give and when a friend of his started selling Andy's cookies in his deli, they quickly sold out. So Andy and Lissa started selling them wholesale to many stores and delicatessens in the Hamptons. They eventually opened their own bakery and ask they say, the rest is history!

They offer over 10 varieties, including Chocolate Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip, Triple Chip, Cinnamon Sugar, Chocolate with Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Pumpkin, White Chocolate with Macadamia Nuts, Lemon, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, and Peanut Butter Chip. They even have cookie gift boxes with your choice of a 3-bag box, 6-bag box, and a 9-bag box.

You can find Sweet Andy's Cookies on Facebook and Twitter.

You can purchase a 5-cookie bag for $5.99 each flavor.

WHAT I THOUGHT

Aside from being a brownie fiend and a chocoholic, I love cookies! But I especially love homemade cookies because you can taste the love in a homemade cookie. So when I saw Sweet Andy's Cookies, I knew I had to try them!

Oatmeal Raisin
One look at these cookies and you will have a hard time resisting the chance to gobble them up! They are thick, chewy, and deliciously sweet. I got to try out 6 flavors:

Chocolate- Chocolate cookies can be hard to make because if you don't add enough sugar, it will taste bitter but if you add too much, you lose the chocolate taste. Once again, this was a nice balance. The flavor reminded me of dutch chocolate ice cream. Yum!
Mint Chocolate Chip: This was one of the first flavors we tried, and you can definitely taste the mint! In some cookies, you can either taste too much mint and not enough chocolate or vice versa. It was a beautiful balance and decadent. Mom said that you can definitely tell these are homemade.
Chocolate Chip: I love huge chocolate chunks in cookies, and that's exactly what's in these delicious chocolate chip cookies! Every bite has at least a little chocolate so you know you're not missing out. It's a little on the sweet end, but still yummy.
Triple Chip: It has peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips. While I could taste the chocolate and peanut butter chips, I really couldn't taste the white chocolate chips. It was still good, I just wish I could have tasted more white chocolate.
Sugar: Everyone loves a sugar cookie. These are chewy, sweet, and just decadent. I wouldn't suggest eating more than 2 cookies unless you're going for a sugar rush high. LOL They weren't too sweet, but sweet enough to make 1 cookie last you a while.
Oatmeal Raisin: I personally love oatmeal raisin cookies. These weren't as thick as the others but just as chewy. Wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, but that's okay. After one of the other cookies, a less sweeter cookie is welcomed.

We love these cookies and will probably end up arguing over the rest of them. That's okay- as long as everyone is happy!

I was NOT compensated for this review. I received FREE samples to try. All thoughts/opinions are my own.
