HGG:Home- Christmas Central Review

I admit it, I love cold weather. When you live in Texas and have a summer that breaks a 100 year-old record (slightly exaggerating on that 100…), you get excited when you get a temperature below 70 degrees. Now that we’re nearing the end of November, the temperatures will start dropping and staying warm is a must!

If you’re looking for quality Christmas décor at affordable prices, then why not try Christmas Central? Christmas Central is an online superstore of Christmas décor! And they’re not around just at the Holidays. You can purchase their items any day or time of the year!

The choices they offer are astounding!  You have your choice of over 1,000 items in all kind of categories such as Christmas Essentials, Lemax Villages, and even Christmas Costumes. Whatever it is you are looking for, I am pretty sure you can find it!

Sports fans will love you with their NFL, NCAA, NASCAR, MLB, NHL, and NBA decorations! As a Texas Longhorns fan, I plan on picking up a couple next year!

But if you’re looking for something simple, have a look at their beautiful wreaths, ornaments, or table top decorations.  Your mom will cherish the "No One Has Ever Loved Their Mother More Than I Love You" Christmas Ornament.

Own a brick-and-mortar business and want something professional to decorate your store with? They offer Commercial Decorations that include Wreaths, Displays, and even 12 to 18 foot Christmas trees!
People tend to think that Christmas Central has just Christmas decorations. Not true! If you’re wanting to stock up on decorations for Easter, St. Patrick’s Day, or even Halloween (for next year!), they offer other Holiday decorations!  They also have patio and lawn decorations for year-round enjoyment. Or better yet, snag some home décor for those who enjoy decorating their house in the Spring!
You can find them on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

Thanks to Christmas Central, I was given the opportunity to review their Merry Christmas Mixed Languages Afghan Throw.

What I Thought
When I received this, I was super excited! We were expected to have a small cold front come through, and that would give me a chance to use it right away. After taking the plastic wrapping off of it, I felt how thick it was. I’ve noticed that some Afghans are quite thin and are good for chilly nights, not necessarily very cold ones. This one is perfect for both! What really caught my eye was the beautiful coloring. I have 2 throws in my house (not counting this one), and both are black & white. While they are classic, sometimes you want to add a little pizazz. This particular one gives you that splash of color.

See what I mean? Gorgeous!!

Now, before we get to what I thought of the warmth of it, I’d love to tell you the languages used! There are 4 in all- one on each side. They are: English- Merry Christmas; Spanish- Feliz Navidad; French- Joyeux Noel; and last, but not least, German- Froehliche Weihnachten. So if you have friends who speak Spanish, French, or German and want to send them a little Christmas greeting, you can give it to them in their language.

I love wrapping up in a blanket when I’m on the couch and watching a movie. This does the trick! I’m quite tall, and since some Afghan throws are just a bit short, I need 2 of them to cover me up. This is the perfect height! I don’t have to position my body in an awkward spot just to cover up. Once I’m curled up on the couch, all I have to do is throw this over me and in a few minutes, I’m warm. Oh, and don’t worry about the throw being itchy or rough. It’s so soft that even one of our kitties enjoys it.

Content kitty is content.

If you don’t want to buy it for yourself, you can give it as a gift! It would be a perfect hostess gift (for that special holiday party!), a gift for your mother, grandmother, or just about anyone. They’ll love it, believe me!

I was NOT compensated for this review. I received a FREE Afghan Throw from Christmas Central to review. All thoughts/opinions are my own.
