Okay, picture this. It’s cold outside. If you live in the
northern states, it’s snowing. In the southern states, it’s just chilly enough
to make you shiver. You are thinking “I need something warm to eat…” If you’re
like me, you usually grab a cup of hot chocolate and a bowl of oatmeal. That
usually does the trick, but sometimes you need something hearty- like soup!
Spoonful of Comfort can help you! What started in 2007 due
to terrible news has turned into something that no other company does- helping
sick loved ones through the power of homemade chicken soup.
Each batch of chicken soup is made using only natural
ingredients, with no additives or preservatives. This ensures that you care
getting “down-home comfort” at the time you need it most. With ingredients like
sea salt, sage, pulled chicken and carrots, you know you’re getting “a home-style
taste that even grandmas would approve of!”!
You can also pick something up for a special occasion, such
as College Care Packages, Get Well, and a New Baby! Each category offers
not only the chicken soup, but other items as well. You’ll find Chocolate Chip Cookies, blankets, aprons, ladles, and even the Sweet Squeeze Gift Set of Natural Lemonade! If you’re looking to buy your boss or co-workers something
for the Holidays, why not check out their Corporate Gifts?
Since it is the
season for giving, a portion of the proceeds from your purchase will be donated
to Cancer Research.

What I Thought
I was
given the opportunity to review not only their delicious soup, but their rolls
and cookies as well.
It arrived just in perfect timing, as I was beginning to
feel the onset of a small cold. I opened the package and saw how everything was
nestled inside. The soup arrived frozen with ice packs on each side of the jar.
They really take care of their products when they ship it to you. It was
packaged beautifully!
The soup was sooooooo delicious! Because I was feeling under
the weather, I popped mine into the microwave. It still was really good. The
chicken was moist; the noodles were perfect, and the broth? Oh my gosh. You
know how some soups have a very salty taste to them? This didn’t. It was a
perfect balance. Even my father, who really doesn’t like soup, enjoyed this
particular one! You can taste the homemade feel of it, and eating it just makes
you feel like it was made by your mom or grandma.
They also sent over some pan-made dinner rolls. Each package
comes in counts of 6, and believe me when I say that they taste like they were
made from scratch. They were better than any store-bought brand I have tried. I
like my rolls a little flaky, and these were perfect! I tried to take just one
bite of the roll, but before I knew it, it was gone. They would also be a
perfect quick snack. Just pop it into the microwave for a few moments. I may
end up buying more just to have on hand.
The only cookie left- and it was mine! |
Are you drooling yet? This was the best
cookie I have had in quite a long time!
It was soft, delicious, and scrumptious. When you bite into it, you get
a taste of both oatmeal and raisin. Believe it or not, Angela was the first one
to snag a cookie! I really do enjoy homemade food. It makes you feel a lot
better, and it even takes you down memory lane.
