HG: Guylian Belgian Chocolates Review & Giveaway

Okay, raise your hand if you are as chocolate lover? Yeah, I am too. Give me any kind of chocolate, and I will love you forever. I love all kinds- dark, milk, white, milk with nuts… you get the point. But I believe that I have found the best chocolate I have ever tasted. It’s smooth, delicious, and down-right creamy. That’s what you’ll get with Guylian Belgian Chocolate.

So how did Guylian come about? Why not read the sweet (no pun intended… maybe) story!

Guy Foubert was a passionate Belgian Chocolatier making handmade chocolate truffles in
Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. In 1958, Guy and Liliane joined their names, both in marriage
and in their company name creating Chocolaterie Guylian; a small, artisanal
chocolate maker. Today, Guylian crafts the finest authentic Belgian
chocolate truffles
, selling them to chocolate lovers in Belgium and in more
than 100 countries across the world.

How adorable is that? I don’t know about you, but when I read a story like that, it makes me smile

Guylian Belgian Chocolate has chocolate for just about everyone. Do you like Extra Dark? They have that too. Are you on a sugar-free diet? They didn’t leave you out. They’ve created chocolate bars for you! And of course, they’ve got their Artisanal Belgian Chocolate Truffles.

These chocolates are perfect as gifts, or if you just want to eat them yourself, that’s okay too.

You can follow Guylian on Twitter and Facebook! Tell them Edge of Insanity sent ya!

Buy It
To purchase Guylian Belgian Chocolates, go to their Store Locator. There you will be prompted to find your state, and then it will give you a list of retailers where you could possibly find these wonderful sweets!

What I Thought
When I received a package in the mail and saw that it was from Guylian, I couldn’t help but smile. It had been a crazy day since Thanksgiving was close by. The cup of instant coffee I had just finished wasn’t working, and all the pets were driving me nuts. Sometimes I feel like I live in a zoo. So this came at the perfect time!

After opening the box and seeing the chocolate, I couldn’t help but take one… or two chocolates. Let me tell you that my taste buds had exploded. It has been a long time since I’ve had chocolate that superb. It sweet the right amount of sweetness with the right amount of smoothness. Wait, let me just show you how good these looked:

Are you drooling yet? I can still taste them! This was just one of the many boxes I received. Now, look at what the inside of it looks like:

I also received some Extra Dark truffles, Extra Dark Sugar-Free Bar and Milk Chocolate Sugar-Free Bar. Most sugar-free chocolate bars have a bland taste. Those did not at all! Sorry, no pictures, but even I was surprised at how sweet and delicious they were- even without the sugar!

Everyone in the family wish we had a lot more, but they were happy and loved it all!

We will be buying more of the chocolates to keep on hand (and I will start my very own Guylian stash!)

GIVEAWAY
The people at Guylian are allowing one of my readers to win their very own Artisanal Belgian Original Chocolate Truffles Box of 22 ($14 value). Good luck!

I was NOT compensated for this review. I received FREE chocolate from Guylian Belgian Chocolates to review. All thoughts/opinions are are mine.
