This disclosure is to inform anyone who wants to enter a giveaway but cannot read or see the fine print in the giveaway widget.
All giveaways are one(1) entry per household or ISP address. If you are new to giveaways, this means that only one person per household or ISP address can enter the giveaways. This is to deter cheating, and thanks to giveaway widgets (like Rafflecopter or Giveaway Tools), we are able to verify ISP addresses.
Void where prohibited and you must be 18 or over to enter our giveaway for legal purposes. We don't want anyone - including ourselves - to get into any kind of legal trouble. Please check your state's sweepstakes/giveaways laws for more information. Most of, if not all, Edge of Insanity's giveaways are for United States residents only, unless stated otherwise.
Unless stated, we are not responsible for prize shipment. We sometimes hold giveaways where we are responsible for getting your prize to you, but generally, the sponsor is the one who will be sending your prize. Sometimes we have issues with sponsors not sending the prize, and if you have not received your prize after 6-8 weeks (which is the normal time-frame for prizes to be sent), you may contact us and we will try to work with the sponsor. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't work out like it should, please note that I am not responsible for the sponsor or the prize.
We don't appreciate cheating, and we reserve the right to ban those cheating from entering future giveaways. Cheating includes but is not limited to:
- Entering under numerous and/or false names in attempt to get more entries.
- Not completing entries as instructed just to get the entry.
- Asking family members or friends to enter as well so you can get the prize if won.
- Attempting to bully others in not entering so you have a better chance.
- Bribing giveaway owners into choosing you as the winner.
- Using the Twitter "Tweet" option, and only copying/pasting the same URL. (Not only is this lazy, this is a form of cheating. If you don't want to clog up your Twitter feed, don't use that option!)
- Entering from fake Twitter or Facebook pages.
- Using giveaway software or programs.
- Any other means of attempting to cheat.
If found cheating multiple times, you will be banned from entering future giveaways.
We verify every single entry [especially mandatory entries] so that it is fair for those who have entered. If an incorrect entry is found (but not related to cheating), it may be removed without notice.
