| The beautiful JORD wooden box the Maple & Rose Gold came in! |
So imagine my surprise when I learned I would be receiving a JORD Wooden Wristwatch! I wasn't sure which one I wanted, and which one would go with my sporty wardrobe. But because I had always loved looking at elegant watches that had a little bit of rosy color to it, I decided upon the Maple & Rose Gold from the Sydney series. It was the first one that caught my eye and I fell in love.
The box it came in is made of wood, and the JORD logo was beautifully debossed on both the top and side. When I opened the box, what was inside took my breath away. This beautiful watch was around a little JORD pillow. The watch was even more impressive in person than I imagined! The maple wood and the rose gold watch face stared back at me and I was itching to put it on right then and there.
When I finally allowed myself to put it on, it fit perfectly. It was easy to put on with the butterfly clasp. The wood was smooth and moved across the skin without any problems. It was also surprisingly easy to wind the watch, especially since I never got the hang of it with other watches I've owned. JORD Wood Watches come with little how-to cards, which makes things a little simpler.
The first day, I had to go to the store and get a few things, so I decided to wear it. I was approached by a woman who said my watch was beautiful. When I told her it was a JORD Wood Watch, she actually told me she might check them out for her daughter's 35th birthday next month.Yeah, I think I'll wear it out more often.
Wood watches are very pretty, but I would hate to get one wet. I never take my watch off.
