Self-esteem is important to everyone, but more important for girls between the ages of 7-15. They are exposed to much these days and it is very critical that they learn to just be their own person, no matter what that may be.

BYou magazine is a publication for girls ages 7-15 that focuses on building self-esteem in fun and empowering ways. BYou has created the perfect balance of entertainment and education; teaching self-esteem in fun, yet powerful, ways that makes a long-lasting impact on a girl’s life. They feature stories and information on current topics and challenges girls face today (such as bullying, body image, and friendships), positive self-affirming messaging, and popular teen/tween celebrities who are positive role models and making a difference in the world.
Peyton List issue
Each issue also offers a lot of fun things like puzzles, contests, and a craft idea (most issues). I personally consider it a lot better than most of the teen magazines out there today, which mostly focus on fashion, and very little on becoming a confident and empowered teen.

So empower the tween in your life by subscribing to BYou today for only $17.97 for a year!

You can find BYou on Facebook and Twitter.

GIVEAWAY
Give the gift of self-esteem to a special young lady this Holiday season by entering to win an annual subscription to BYou magazine- a $23.70 value! One(1) winner will receive the annual subscription which includes 6 issues. Enter below. Good luck!

  1. I love that the magazine's message is for girls to be their own person - not what everybody is "being." My tween needs to hear this message in the media.
