Texas Fall Fashion Idea?

Here in Texas, we don't have much of Autumn. We have some cool days and cold nights, but nothing that requires a jacket just yet. But instead of wearing sweatshirts and jeans (or even sweat pants), I decided that I would work on my fall outfit for the totally unpredictable Texas fall!

What do you think? Should I change the handbag or find a shoe that is almost exact same color as the scarf? I really like the top because it is a hot color this year and I like the zippers (weird, I know). I thought of going with palazzo pants but that might be a bit drafty in the cold winds.
