Journal your way to a happier year with Wrapped! {Review + Giveaway}

Even before my hospital stay, I wanted to get back into journaling. But not just a "Dear Diary" sort of journal. I wanted a stress journal AND a thought journal.

Speedway
When I came across Wrapped, I was surprised to find out that they have more than just journals. They actually offer designer wrapping paper! If you thought you've seen all of the wrapping paper the world has to offer, their designer wrapping paper will make you want to give more gifts through out the year. Their wrapping paper collections include Venice, Animal Style, Carbon, and Eye Candy. I personally love the Speedway wrapping paper from the Venice collection!

If you are looking for unique post cards, they also have post cards that feature their unique wrapping paper designs! There are 3 different sets and each set includes 12 post cards.

They also offer journals (8 styles available) as well as wall decals (3 different styles available).

You can find Wrapped on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

You can purchase the Lathe Journal for $18.00 and the Tribute Journal for $18.

WHAT I THOUGHT
One of my 2013 goals was to write down my thoughts and stress in journals so that way I could process my emotions better instead of letting them take over me. Unfortunately, I ended up in the hospital for 4 days, but once I got home, I had to plenty to write down. A day before my release, I received the Lathe and Tribute Journal from Wrapped to review.

At first glance, you can tell the colors are very vibrant and true to the pictures on the website. The covers are smooth without any bumps or nicks. The covers are hard enough to not bend, which drives me crazy. The journals themselves are small enough to slip into a purse or bag without weighing it down.

The Lathe Journal came with 240 lined pages while the Tribute Journal came with 240 blank pages. I love that you have the option of choosing whether you want lined or blank pages. Speaking of the pages, writing on them made for smooth journaling. Even with a thick ink, it didn't bleed through. It reminds me of journals from way back then, when people would use fountain pens dipped in ink pots. I loved both the lined and unlined  pages, which I use the Lathe Journal (lined) for my stress journal and the Tribute Journal (blank) as my thought journal, which will help if I feel the need to doodle.

An accent that I absolutely love is that each journal comes with it's own ribbon bookmark! Most journals don't, and it's a great way to know where your last entry ended and the new one begins! I love these journals and once they are filled with thoughts of 2013, I will most likely get 2 more for thoughts of 2014!
