Our annual Thanksgiving night trip!

Last year, I posted several times about our annual Thanksgiving trip to Nature In Lights. This year, we are going again! So what exactly is Nature In Lights? It's 5 miles of gorgeous light displays on Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (which is actually part of Ft. Hood!), which is usually only open to the military and their families. But every year starting in November, they open it up to the public. We have gone every year (except those few years when we couldn't), and this year will be no exception.

This year will be especially, well, special. Mom has had a rough year health-wise that includes having her pacemaker and other health issues that threatened to take her away from us. But she fought through it all and since she's still here, we are making this Holiday season special.
From last year's trip

We have made it a tradition to go to Nature In Lights (when we can)! What are your favorite Thanksgiving traditions?
