WHAT I THOUGHT

Before I was able to try Cafepress, I had spent many hours just looking around. I believe it was last year, one day, I spent 2 hours just "Christmas window shopping". Or at least that's what I called it. Twin said I was secretly building a Christmas list. Either way, I had easily made a list with 10 different products that I wanted but knew I wouldn't get.

Anyways, I was excited when Cafepress contacted me, asking if I would like to give Cafepress a try for real. I had no idea what I wanted to order! Twin and I constantly argued over what we wanted, since we share almost everything. We finally agreed on the Fiery Night (by van Gogh) 25.5” x 32” poster and Something Wicked This Way Comes t-shirt.

Now, the reason we picked Fiery Night is because a few years ago, Twin gave me a Starry Night poster (by van Gogh, of course) for my birthday and we figured Fiery Night would be a great companion to Starry Night. The poster is super vibrant and of great quality! It isn't thin at all, and hangs great on the wall. Even a week or two of it hanging, it hasn't completely straightened out, which I like because if I ever have to take it down and roll it up, I won't spend 5 minutes trying to roll the darn thing again. It is a smooth picture, and it looks just great. I will also say that it came carefully packaged with protective padding around it. Now that is quality shipping!

Twin and I kind of like gothic or dark things, since we do enjoy heavy metal quite a bit. When we saw "Something Wicked This Way Comes", we thought it fit us perfectly! We didn't even have to argue over which color or size to get. The day it came, I decided to try it on. It was a little snug, but it is 100% pre-shrunk cotton so all I had to do was wash and stretch it to fit. It is a little on the thin side, but since it was in the 90's that day, I didn't care. It is also a little short as far as length goes. I'm 5'8 and it ended a little above my hips. But once I put a longer tank on underneath it, it looked great! The screen printed image hasn't worn out or peeled. The ride in the washer didn't damage it at all and even stretching it didn't do any damage. I try to wear it as much as I can.

When it gets close to the Holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, ya know?), I probably will end up spending some more time there- I still have a list of things I want!
