French Meadow Bakery Review

Gluten-free foods are very popular nowadays and it has become somewhat a staple in the Edge of Insanity house because Twin has to switch to a semi-gluten-free diet. If you’re used to foods that contain gluten and then all of a sudden you have to go gluten-free, it can be kinda scary because you have no clue how it will taste.

French Meadow Bakery offers organic and all-natural baked goods like yeast-free, vegan, sprouted grain, gluten-free and Kosher Parve! With products like Breads & Rolls, Bagels, and even yummy Desserts, you are bound to find something that will make your tummy growl and still be great for strict diets!

Bread has gotten expensive and it is terrible for diets. If it isn’t gluten-free, that can cause problems. French Meadow Bakery offers loaves of gluten-free bread like Cinnamon Raisin, Multigrain bread, and even regular Sandwich Bread. If you want to try something new, check out their Hemp Bread. Sure, it isn’t gluten-free but it is certified Low Glycemic for Diabetics.

If you love making your own pizzas but hate trying to come up with gluten-free pizza crust, French Meadow Bakery has you covered! They have gluten-free Pizza Crusts that have no trans-fat and are actually certified gluten-free! Pizza lovers of the world unite!

But if you’re a dessert lover like me, finding gluten-free treats that still taste as good as those that contain gluten can be hard. Guess what? They have delicious gluten-free desserts! I love chocolate chip cookies and they have Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough! Better yet, they also have Gluten-Free Brownies!

WHAT I THOUGHT
I was able to review the Gluten-Free Cinnamon Raisin Bread and Gluten-Free Brownies.

I looove brownies. I will gladly get brownies any chance I get. But since Twin can’t have brownies that aren’t gluten-free, I felt bad. So I thought these brownies might make her feel better. They were sooo moist! They were chocolaty, chewy (which is a big selling point for me), and so delicious. They weren’t overly sweet or bland. You really couldn’t tell they were gluten-free. With chocoholics in the house, they didn’t last the day!

As for the Cinnamon Raisin Bread, I thought it was also delicious! It wasn’t very sweet at all. The perfect amount of cinnamon and raisins. It made for perfect toast with Apricot Pineapple jam on top. It wasn’t crumbly (like some store brand bread) and it wasn’t too soft. Mom definitely loved it and wants to get more. Twin, who isn’t a big sandwich fan, used it to make a PB & J sandwich. She has said that she wished we had more. Might have to pick some more up soon!

I was NOT compensated for this review. I received FREE products from French Meadow Bakery to review. All thoughts/opinions are my own.
