When you think of the Holidays, you think of chocolate. Even if you don't like chocolate, you can't help but imagine stockings filled with chocolate of all kinds. But did you know that chocolate also makes a wonderful gift?

Marich offers premium chocolates that are actually locally sourced, with ingredients coming from as far away as only 150 miles! Now, I bet you're ready to hear about their decadent chocolate and sweets, right?
4.5 oz Natural Chocolate Blueberries

You have a large choice when it comes to their chocolate collection. They have so many flavors (like Chocolate Espresso, Holland Mints, and Spiced Apples), different chocolate types (kosher, dark chocolate, savory, etc.) and styles (crunchy, chewy, and even sugar-free). Can I just say, personally, that the Barista Blend Espresso Beans look delicious? They even have chocolate fruits! Chocolate Blueberries, please!

Okay, so you don't really care for the espresso beans or fruit. Why not give their chocolate nuts a taste? They have an interesting array of different chocolate - and not-so-chocolate - nut flavors like Coconut Curry Cashews, Dark Chocolate Chipotle Almonds, and even Chocolate Toffee Pistachios. My mom, who loves any kind of nut, might get a kick out of those Double Chocolate Almonds!
8 oz Licorice Bridge Mix

Not a milk or dark chocolate fan? Not everyone is, and that's okay because Marich has other deliciousness for you as well. You have your choice of different sweets like White Chocolate Candy Cane Caramels, jelly beans, licorice (as well as other kinds of licorice like pastels), and even White Chocolate Gingerbread!

Marich makes a great hostess gift as well!

WHAT I THOUGHT

Okay, it's not rare for someone to be a chocoholic. And while I love a good candy bar once in a while, my absolutely favorite chocolate is premium chocolates. The taste is just on a higher plan that regular chocolate. So you could imagine my excitement when I found out that I would be trying out Marich!

I received Candy Cane Caramels, Peppermint Bark Shortbread, and Christmas Holland Mints. Let's start with the Peppermint Bark Shortbread first, shall we?

Peppermint Bark Shortbread

The Peppermint Bark Shortbread was probably my favorite of the trio! A ball of shortbread cookie is surrounded by a layer of chocolate, and then a layer of peppermint-flavored white chocolate! As you can see from the picture, they didn't skimp on the layers either! The outer peppermint bark layer wasn't overpowering at all, and left a nice "candy cane" taste while you munch on the shortbread cookie underneath. I'm still craving them.

Candy Cane Caramels

The Candy Cane Caramels were very interesting at first! I don't think I've ever had chocolate-covered caramels with a candy cane outer layer. Once I got past the texture different, it kind of reminded me of malt balls (minus the caramel), which I absolutely adore. Unfortunately, Twin didn't care for them as much as I did, which was fine. I shared them with mom!

Christmas Holland Mints

I did not know I was in for sensory overload with the Christmas Holland Mints. When you think of mints, you generally think of a slight mint flavor with maybe some chocolate thrown in. I did not know that these were actually creamy peppermints covered in chocolate. I accidentally ate 2 at once, and well, I could honestly say that my breath was minty fresh for a while! As you can see from the picture, the green part is all mint flavor, with of course the candy shell. I suggest you only eat these one at a time. Trust me on this.

All in all, Marich makes me pretty darn good premium chocolate that even a premium chocolate aficionado like me will fall in love!
