Last week, we talked about not giving up, no matter your situation. Since so many of ya'll responded so well to it, I decided to make Thoughts for Thursday a weekly thing.
For this week's Thoughts for Thursday, we'll talk about taking time. Time for what? Anything and everything.
Life on this Earth is so short that we don't know how much longer we have. When Mom had to have a pacemaker put in last year, I realized how precious life is. I also realized that I needed to spend more time with the ones I love.
Taking time for your family is only one piece of the pie. Take some time to breathe in and feel the stress blowing out as you exhale. Take some time to enjoy each moment of every day. Take some time to lend hand to those in need. We can all take time by putting away our electronics and instead, play games with our family. Visit someone we haven't seen in years. Pick up a real book, and take the time to indulge in its pages. When we take time to enjoy the little things, stressful things are easier to muddle through. We are able to see the good in every thing.
We all get wrapped up in wanting things or our lives have become a whirlwind of activity. Instead of complaining about what you don't have, take time to be thankful for what you do have.
My question to is you: What do you wish you could take time for?
